This watercolor and ink work is after a painting by Isabel C. Jaramillo, Colombian artist from Medellin. I made some adaptations to it to bring out the complementarity.

This is an ink and watercolor abstract on cold pressed paper (36 x 50 cms) is of multiple levels of Earth, i.e. subterranean and above ground features. It illustrates interconnection and was done with the wet-on-wet method with extensive use of ink to heighten the contrast and brightness of this unusual work.
